The Brooklyn Music School is ecstatic to present our Summer 2021 programming with exciting options for ages 5 and up! Play, sing, and dance your way through the Summer of a lifetime with our world class curriculum and masterful instructors!

The BMS Summer Music & Dance Institute provides children ages 5 - 8 with a broad introduction to music, dance, and the performing arts! BMS's seven week program (7/6/21 - 8/20/21) is packed with creativity, fun, and new friendships. Depending on the week, the Summer Music and Dance Institute offers students classes in Music Fundamentals, Guitar, Piano, African Drumming, Drum Rhythmology, Choir, Ukulele, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop Dance, and Creative Movement!

We are excited to offer the 2021 Summer Intensives for ages 9-12 featuring several music and dance courses running from 7/6/21 - 8/20/21 including the Dance Intensive, Hip Hop Intensive, Orchestra Intensive, Jazz Intensive, and Rock Band Intensive. These courses are tailored specifically to engage older, more experienced students. Rather than sampling a variety of music and dance classes, students have the opportunity to delve deeply into one specific instrument or subject matter.
