BROOKLYN MUSIC SCHOOL (BMS) TO OFFER A WEEK OF EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC CLASSES IN SPANISH THIS MAY 2019
As part of an effort to continue growing and developing its Early Childhood Music Department and class offerings for students ages 0 - 5, the Brooklyn Music School will be holding a series of early childhood classes in Spanish during the week of May 13.
On May 15, 16, 18 and 19, Julian will leading his regular classes in Spanish with the aim of children getting to learn Spanish through music. The classes will be a good opportunity to learn about Spanish speaking cultures through music as well. In the classes, students will go over basic verbs, vocabulary and reinforce it through song. Other topics to be covered would include Numbers, Animals and Family members.
In this program, young children and their caregivers will further their musical understanding through singing, echo songs, call and response, music and movement activities, and musical games. We off a variety of class options designed to engage musicians of all levels from infants through 5 years old.
If you’d like to drop in on several of the classes, we recommend purchasing our 10-class pass which allows you to drop in on any, and as many classes a week as your schedule permits.
