#GivingTuesday 2015: "Dido & Aeneas" Production
Brooklyn Music School announced today that the 2016 Summer Vocal Arts (SVA) program will be staging Henry Purcell's heart-stopping opera, Dido & Aeneas, with some of the most beautiful arias in all of Baroque music.

By making a fully tax-deductible contribution now as part of #GivingTuesday, on December 1st, 2015, you can help sponsor a scholarship for a deserving young artist or be a full-fledged Patron supporting the staging of this ground-breaking production at Brooklyn's leading center for music education.
The Summer Vocal Arts program provides selective, intensive vocal arts and performance training for promising students and accomplished adults looking to move to the next level.
- Contribute $100 to be a Sponsor of a deserving scholarship student
- Contribute $500 to be a Patron of this year's opera production
Both levels will be listed in the program, receive center-stage reserved seating, and be invited to a champagne toast with the performers on opening night.

Auditions for Dido & Aeneas
BMS will be holding auditions for the Summer Vocal Arts 2016 Program, in preparation for our production of Dido & Aeneas, on January 26th & 27th, and again on February 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2016. For more information contact Ms. Lina Tetriani at (718) 638-5660.

Prior productions by the Summer Vocal Arts Program have included A Brooklyn Cabaret in 2015, the opera Hansel & Gretel in 2014, and excerpts from Mozart's Marriage of Figaro in 2013.
