Dear BMS string and orchestra families,

It's almost that time again! On Tuesday, May 10, we'll present our annual Suzuki Playdown in which we all come together and play our favorite pieces from Suzuki book 1 back to front.

This year will be a little different. In the past, Suzuki Playdown has been just for the violins, but why not include our cellist, violist and bassist friends? Oh yeah, and we have the BMS Orchestra backing us up too for part of it -- as well as opening the show.

The Playdown is open to any BMS string player young or old. Violinists should have at least part of their Twinkles learned and cellists, violists and bassists should be able to play "French Folk Song."

Even if you're not a string player, come out and show your support!
