Brooklyn Music School believes that a healthy arts community contributes to the overall mental and physical well-being of the borough and fosters strong community connections. Our intention is to make sure our actions and programming support our beliefs. Which is why we are proud to offer sound bath experiences every 2nd Sunday!
Second Sunday Sound Bath Series: October 2024 through June 2025!
Immerse yourself in sound and meditation; emerge cleansed and renewed! Designed to regulate your nervous system, participants experience the soothing sounds of resonant instruments which help lower stress and align your body and mind. These offerings bring a calming and mindful transition and are ideal way to end the weekend and to start a new week.
This month’s practitioner is Olivia Biddle!
Olivia Biddle is a medical massage therapist, intuitive bodyworker, photograper/visual artist incorporating sound, and a sound practitioner. She received her BFA in sculpture/installation from Parsons. Over the past 25 years studying and working in Physical Rehabilitation, many concepts of healing mind, body, spirit and intuitive resonating have opened many systems, approaches and modalities of "Wellness" from physical to the energetic bodies. Sound and vibration are unique as they are non-invasive, deeply relaxing to the nervous system, and facilitate releases beyond where the hands can go. Learn more about Olivia here...
