Rock Ensembles at BMS

At BMS we offer youth rock bands for students as young as 6 years old starting with the "Groove Ensemble" and going all the way through high school aged students. The rock ensembles at BMS are generally one hour classes that meet once a week and are open to players beyond the beginning level.

The ensembles are a great opportunity for our students to see the results of their learning and practice through collaboration and group performances. 

BMS provides our ensembles with numerous unique showcase opportunities in our theatre and around the NYC area throughout the year. Recent notable performances include a Jimi Hendrix Tribute with Advisory Board Member and guitarist from Wilco, Nels Cline.

Note: All children's ensembles require an enrollment commitment for the entire Academic Year. Adult ensembles require a commitment of at least one semester. Students have the option to join a current ensemble or start a new one.
