We are excited to share that this coming Monday, January 14 the Brooklyn Music School will be participating in the Fort Greene Association’s panel discussion on the topic of the Arts & Culture in Fort Greene. The panel discussion will be moderated by Beth Allen, the Executive Director of the Downtown Brooklyn Arts Alliance. The panel will include representatives from BRIC, MoCADA, BMS, BAM and Mark Morris. Topics that will be explored in the discussion include:
The past, present and future of the Fort Greene art scene.
The vision and the inner-workings of art institutions in our neighborhood.
Arts, local economy, youth, and the fabric of a community
Make it anywhere - share the organizations' global footprint and the journey to leadership roles
Fun for everyone -- community outreach, inclusive initiatives, programming, and ways to get involved.
There will be time at the end for a Q&A with the audience.
