Martin Jacobs is an American pianist and teacher. He completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Université de Montréal, studying with Paul Stuart. Martin completed a Masters of Music in piano performance at the Université de Montréal, studying with Maneli Pirzadeh and Paul Stewart. He received a Bachelor of Music from The Juilliard School, studying with Julian Martin. Martin first teacher was Dr. Mary Jo Pagano at Third Street Music School Settlement.

Martin recently performed a three-concert tour in Lisbon, Caldas da Rainha, and Óbidos, Portual, which was broadcast on classical radio station Antena 2. He has performed at the Laeiszhalle Grand Hall in Hamburg, Germany, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Cami Hall, Steinway Hall, the Porter Center at Brevard Music Center, Paul Hall at Juilliard, Salle Claude-Champagne at the Université de Montréal, Kleines Studio at the Mozarteum in Saltzburg, Austria, Casa da Música in Óbidos, Portugal, Real Collegio in Lucca, Italy, the Gijón International Piano Festival in Gijón, Spain, and the Aspen Music Festival. Martin was a quarterfinalist in the 2024 Gina Bachauer International Artists Competition. He was the first prize winner in the Association of International Masterclasses, Antena Competition 2022 in Óbidos, Portugal, as well as the Université de Montréal Concours de Concerto in 2018 with Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 2.

Martin is an active chamber musician, performing alongside fellow musicians and former teachers in Germany, Canada, Vermont, New Hampshire, Colorado, and New York. He is on the piano faculty at the Brooklyn Music School in New York City and the Chapman Studio in Montréal.
